European Alps Option #1
The French, Swiss, and Italian Alps are all within reach of Barcelona and offer some of the most breathtaking motorcycle roads in Europe. Riders can carve through legendary passes such as the Stelvio Pass in Italy, with its iconic switchbacks and panoramic views, or the Col de l’Iseran in France, the highest paved pass in the Alps.

Switzerland’s Furka, Grimsel, and Susten passes form a thrilling loop of sweeping bends and glacier vistas. In Italy, the Dolomites boast the twisting Great Dolomite Road, while France’s Route des Grandes Alpes links dramatic mountain passes from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean.
The roads combine challenging curves, smooth tarmac, and awe-inspiring scenery, making the Alpine region an unforgettable playground for motorcyclists seeking adventure, beauty, and technical riding.
When your bike and gear arrive in Europe, it will be ready to collect from our Barcelona depot on Spain’s Mediterranean south coast within 5-7 days following the vessel’s arrival (ETA).
*Please note, planned arrival and departure dates may change slightly due to international vessel scheduling, and we’ll keep you updated on any changes. On return, your bike will need to be delivered to our Barcelona depot for loading, 7 days before the departure (ETD) date.
The good news is that you can ride your own Australian-registered bike in Europe on a Temporary Import Permit (which we arrange) for up to 6 months in any 12-month period.

Spain & Portugal Option #2
Spain and Portugal offer some of Europe’s most spectacular motorcycle touring, blending coastal rides with mountainous adventures. In Spain, the Picos de Europa and Pyrenean passes deliver thrilling curves and high-altitude scenery, while Andalusia’s Sierra Nevada and the roads around Ronda wind through dramatic landscapes and historic villages.
Crossing into Portugal, the legendary N2 runs the country’s length, showcasing ever-changing and at times spectacular scenery.
Coastal routes are equally breathtaking: from Porto southward, riders follow the Atlantic to Nazaré, world-famous for its giant surfing waves crashing against towering cliffs.
Further along, the ride to Lisbon and down through the Algarve offers sunlit roads, cliffside vistas, and charming fishing towns. Altogether, these routes promise motorcyclists unforgettable roads, culture, and awe-inspiring views.
Scandinavia Option #3
Scandinavia offers adventure motorcyclists a breathtaking journey through diverse landscapes, from Denmark’s charming countryside to Norway’s majestic fjords and Arctic tundra. Expect well-maintained, scenic roads and challenging mountain passes. The Nordland Route (RV17) in Norway is a must-ride coastal road with ferries and the most amazing views.
Be prepared for varying weather, pack layers, and consider the long daylight hours in summer. Wildlife encounters are possible, so be careful. Planning your route and accommodation in advance is recommended.

Motorsport Events Option #4
Europe, between May and September hosts many of the world’s greatest car and motorcycle racing events, attracting fans and riders alike. In May, the MotoGP calendar features the French Grand Prix at Le Mans, followed by Italy’s Mugello circuit with its fast straights and rolling hills.
June brings the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans motorsport event, a celebration of the ultimate endurance racing test.
July and August highlight Formula 1 classics, including the British and Hungarian Grand Prix, and the dramatic Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps. Motorcycle fans also descend on the Dutch TT at Assen and Austria’s Red Bull Ring.
September closes with the famed Italian Grand Prix at Monza – a not-to-be-missed thrilling conclusion to Europe’s summer of motorsport.
Europe TET Option #5
The Trans Europe Trail (TET) offers a staggering 80,000km adventure riding route, with 64% off-road. It’s a navigation rally stretching from the Arctic Circle all the way down to Africa (across Europe and, even extending into the UK from Dover to Newcastle). The trail stitches together existing tracks, green lanes, and roads, providing a challenging yet rewarding self-guided navigation experience for adventure riders across two regions.
The Western arm goes through countries like Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, and the UK, and continues south through Andorra, Spain, and Portugal.
The Eastern arm covers countries including Finland, the Baltic states, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Greece.
The TET is a network of paths meticulously mapped by enthusiastic volunteers in each participating country and region. The trail is diverse and ever-changing. You’ll need to navigate using freely available GPS tracks, embracing the spirit of self-sufficiency and adventure!
Preparation is key; ensuring suitable off-road capable bikes, tires, and navigation tools for tackling the terrain from the rocky mountains of the Alps to the sandy tracks of the Balkans.
Romaniacs Red Bull Challenge Option #6
The Red Bull Romaniacs Hard Enduro Rallye is widely regarded as the toughest off-road motorcycle race in the world. Held annually in Sibiu, Romania, the five-day event kicks off with a spectacular in-city Prologue, where riders navigate a custom-built obstacle course in front of cheering crowds. The next four days are a brutal test of endurance and skill, with competitors traversing the rugged terrain of the Southern Carpathian Mountains.
Riders face steep inclines, rocky sections, and dense forests, with new tracks created each year to ensure the challenge remains fresh. The event draws amateurs and top-tier professionals from around the world, all vying to be one of the few to complete the race. The Romaniacs event is held in late July each year.
